Changes to Student support for new full time students in 2009/10

The Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills, John Denham, has announced some proposed changes to the finance package for students starting a fulltime higher education course in 2009/10.

These include changing the previously intended 2009/10 package of support including eligibility for and levels of grants and loans. All of the proposed changes are subject to consideration by Parliament. You will be able to get more information about these proposals at www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance in due course.
