Pupil funding - For 2005/06, this government has allocated an extra £1300 per pupil in real terms to Harrow Local Authority since 1997/98, an increase of 42 per cent.
The number of 5,6 & 7 year olds in classes over 30 has FALLEN from 1398 in 1997 to 62 by January 2005.

Primary school results - Revised figures for 2005 show that 82 per cent of eleven year olds reached the required standard in English up from 70 per cent in 1997. In Maths this number is up to 77 per cent from 69 per cent in 1997.
Provisional figures for 2005 show that 82 per cent of eleven year olds reached the required standard in English and 78 per cent in mathematics in Harrow LA.
GCSE - The percentage of secondary school pupils in Harrow LA achieving 5 or more good GCSEs is up from 53 per cent in 1998 to 60 per cent in 2005 (provisional).
