School Workforce in England (including pupil: teacher ratios and pupil: adult ratios), January 2006 (Provisional)
| Description | This is an annual Statistical First Release. It will provide the first release of provisional January 2006 School Workforce data. It will include standards tables for January 1997 to 2006 on: teacher numbers, support staff numbers, teacher vacancies, pupil: teacher ratios (PTRs) and pupil: adult ratios (PARs), teacher ethnicity and teacher sickness absence. This SFR will include teacher ethnicity and teacher sickness absence information that, in previous years, has been released in a separate SFR in May. An additional table providing teacher numbers and support staff numbers in Academies will also be included. Some lesser used tables will be published on the Research and Statistics Gateway "alongside the SFR" soon after publication. | ||
