| Description | This Statistical Bulletin updates that published on 16 December 2002, providing information on participation in education and training by 16 and 17 year olds by Government Office Region, local Learning and Skills Council (LSC) areas and LEA. The publication has been delayed since December to allow further quality assurance of the underlying data. The publication only contains estimates for the latest available year, end 2001, as post-Census single years of age population estimates are not yet available on a consistent basis for earlier years. Estimates in the Bulletin are not comparable with those in previous publications due to the use of the post-Census population estimates as the denominator. A revised historic time series will be published later this year. | ||
