Special Educational Needs in England January 2003

Description	This Statistical Bulletin summaries the information available on Special Educational Needs (SEN) and related information about special schools in England. It updates the information contained in Bulletin "Special Educational Needs in England: January 2002", issue number 10/02, published in November 2002. Related information has been published in a Statistical First Release, issue number 09/2003 and "Schools in England" Volume published in September 2003. In addition, it provides analyses of trends in special schools; schools; pupils and staff; as well as the incidence and placement of pupils with SEN across primary and secondary schools and further analysis of SEN statistics. Additional information has been included in this year's Bulletin as a result of changes in the data collection.
