DCSF: School Sport Survey 2007/08 Research Information
| Description | This survey measures the proportion of children doing 2 hours of high quality PE and school sports at school. In addition, various related sports aspects such as the number of sports on offer in schools and the number of children taking part in competitive sports are measured. The survey comprised a census of all schools co-ordinated through the 450 School Sports Partnerships. Results from 360 randomly selected schools were verified independently to ensure no systematic misreporting. | |
