| Description | This three year longitudinal research project focuses on language learning at KS2 and was commissioned to provide evidence on ongoing delivery of the primary languages initiative. It aims to review existing evidence on the impact of language learning on pupils; investigate the nature and quality of the provision of language learning at KS2 in a range of schools; and assess its impact on pupils learning in languages and across the curriculum. This report presents interim findings from the first year of the study, based on fieldwork conducted in the academic year of 2006/2007. | |
