Integrated Children's System Evaluation: Summary of Key Findings Research Information
| Description | The Integrated Childrens System (ICS) has been developed to improve outcomes for children defined as being in need, under the Children Act 1989. The ICS provides a conceptual framework, a method of practice and a business process to support practitioners and managers in the key tasks of assessment, planning, intervention and review. The research explored the impact of the ICS on social work practice and also examined the use of the systems exemplars (i.e. example records that form the basis of the social care record for children), particularly with disabled children. | |
