2006046 DCSF: Cost Benefit Analysis of Interventions with Parents - Literature Review Published  Published

Published 30-Aug-2007
Report Publication Code : DCSF-RW008 Brief Publication Code : DCSF-RWB008
Evidence suggests that both parental characteristics and behaviour have important effects on child development. Less is known, however, about the most cost effective way to improve these aspects of parenting.

The primary aim of this research work was to undertake a systematic review of the evidence relating to the costs and benefits of parenting interventions, in order to recommend where the focus of further investment in parenting should be.
