This report looks at whether the provision of IAG makes a difference to the work and learning outcomes of individuals. It showed that the provision of Advice and Guidance (A/G) does result in more positive outcomes than offering Information only (I). A/G users had more contact with a larger number of providers and sought help with careers in greater proportions than I-only users. The A/G group were significantly more likely to have undergone changes since their intervention as a result of the help they have received.
