WRITER BIOGRAPHY

Jenny Hunt is a well-known, respected and leading e-learning and Skills for Life expert. Before setting up her own consultancy company Schemeta three years ago, she was the Commissioning Manager for Basic Skills at the Ufi where she was responsible for the development of a wide range of multimedia learning materials for the learndirect national network of learning centres. She was also a Learning Support Officer at the BBC, working on basic skills campaigns and commissioning paper-based, web and multimedia learning content to support television and radio programmes. Her current experience includes working as a consultant and trainer on the LSDA e-learning project, as the lead facilitator for the LSC Skills for Life Quality Initiative in the Eastern Region, developing and running workshops for the BBC @work campaign, as an e-learning consultant for the National Health Service University (NHSU), developing Skills for Life materials for the Ufi, including a Skills for Life handbook, evaluating basic skills projects, consultancy for NIACE and multimedia suppliers and delivering Skills for Life training nationally across the Ufi regions.
