The Department has a set of Departmental Strategic Objectives (DSOs) for the 2007 Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR07) period.
DSOs are part of the new performance management framework announced in CSR07. They sit alongside the smaller, prioritised set of Public Service Agreements (PSAs) and cover the wider span of departmental business.
The DSOs were agreed with HM Treasury, as part of the CSR07, and helped to structure the development of the Children’s Plan.
