INTRODUCTION

This booklet contains the results of the Key Stage 4 Contextual Value Added (CVA) Pilot. We aim to introduce CVA measures as shown here into the secondary school Achievement and Attainment Tables for 2006, following evaluation of the pilot results. We are very grateful to the 430 schools who volunteered to take part in the pilot, for their enthusiastic participation and valuable feedback.
