About the tables

If you have any questions about the information contained in the tables (including the nature of examinations and qualifications) you should first contact the school or college concerned.

Further copies

The School and College (16-18) Performance Tables booklets are printed as a series of 24 booklets, covering the Further Education Funding Council regions. There are also 132 Secondary School Performance Tables booklets, one for each Local Education Authority.

If you would like:

  • printed booklets which include results for 16 to 18 year-olds in schools and Further Education sector colleges;
  • printed booklets which include examination results and rates of pupil absence in secondary schools;
  • computer disks, containing the data from all the Secondary School and School and College Performance Tables, for PCs running Windows 3.1 or above;

NATIONAL TARGETS FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Between October and December 1997, Ministers consulted on revised National Targets. They plan to announce these new targets in the spring of 1998 and for them to be implemented shortly thereafter.
