School and College (Post 16) Performance Tables 2002

INTRODUCTION

These performance tables provide information for young people and their parents on the achievements of sixth form students in their local secondary schools and Further Education sector colleges, and how they compare with other schools and colleges in the area and in England as a whole.

Each entry provides information about the achievements of students over the 2000/2001 and 2001/2002 academic years in General and Vocational A level and AS examinations and in a number of other advanced and intermediate qualifications. Information about other results such as Key Stage 3 National Curriculum Tests, GCSEs and GNVQs in schools can be found in the separate secondary school performance tables.
