Improving quality

In order to achieve the five outcomes of Every Child Matters, it's vitally important that all services for children and young people are of high quality, and are committed to continuous quality improvement.

The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has developed standards, qualifications and training to support the children's workforce, and also issues regular guidance and information about promising practice. These will ensure that the Government, together all those working with children and young people, achieves the aim of making England the best place in the world to grow up.
