Integrated working for LAs

Integrated working focuses on enabling and encouraging professionals to work together and adopt common processes to deliver frontline services, coordinated and built around the needs of children and young people.

The Government is committed to providing support to deliver local change programmes and has developed a set of tools and processes for local areas to use to support integrated working.

The Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) has taken over responsibility from the Department for implementation of the following areas of work, described as 'integrated working': information sharing, the Common Assessment Framework and lead professional and multi-agency working.
