The National Evaluation of Children's Trust Pathfinders was undertaken by the University of East Anglia, in association with the National Children's Bureau.  It carried out a study of all 35 children's trust pathfinders. In total these areas contained 20% of the children and young people aged 0-19 of England. The study also worked in depth with 11 local areas, which were made up of both children's trust pathfinders and non-pathfinders.
