In these case studies LAs, and other organisations responsible for implementing targeted youth support (TYS), share emerging practice focused on workforce development; highlighting the actions needed to help those responsible to deliver the reform programme.
The case studies detail the challenges faced, the actions taken and the resulting impact, and offer some implementation tips for the following areas:
- strong supervision and support for practitioners
- equipping and training workers
- long-term workforce development
- terms and conditions to support multi-agency working.
Their purpose is to give you a taste of the different practices as they emerge, as well as the opportunity to find out more about issues relevant to you and your authority.
