In these case studies LAs, and other organisations responsible for implementing targeted youth support (TYS), share emerging practice around the young person's interventions that need to be in place in order to effectively deliver the reforms.

The case studies detail the challenges faced, the actions taken and the resulting impact, and offer some implementation tips for the following areas:

• effective support across transitions 
• a focus on preventative activities 
• information sharing
• an evidence-based approach to intervention.

Their purpose is to give you a taste of the different practices as they emerge, as well as the opportunity to find out more about issues relevant to you and your authority.
