Mini Sure Start evaluation
Evaluation of Mini Sure Starts in England
The Mini Sure Start programme is designed to provide services for children in rural areas and in pockets of deprivation. The programme has been designed to build on existing services to provide Sure Start type services and the programmes will, as a minimum, provide improved access to health services in addition to play, learning and childcare services. The evaluation of this programme started in June 2003, and focuses on implementation issues, and the type of issues that are relevant to providing services for children in rural areas or small pockets of deprivation.
