Development Journal
A Developmental Journal that can be used by families in different situations to record and celebrate their child's learning and development through the early years. Developmental Journals are also available for use by families with babies and children with Down syndrome, babies and children with visual impairments and deaf babies and children. Early Support informed choice
Booklets that encourage readers to think about what is involved in enabling families to make 'informed choices' for a child.
Informed Choice Materials
These were produced by The National Deaf Children's Society and the University of Manchester in 2004–2006. Their study comprised a literature review and action research with practitioners and families. The materials were trialled with parents and practitioners before being published.
